What makes a guy go from being a bean-counter to growing beans? From crunching numbers to digging dirt? Dan worked as an accountant for 13 years, gardening and landscaping in his spare time. Working at Donzell's has allowed him to hone his hobby into a career. He is Nursery Coordinator and Grower at Donzell's and an Ohio Certified Master Nursery Technician. We're happy he lost the suit and donned the Donzell's t-shirt. |

Combining his love of landscaping and gardening with his vast knowledge of the many products we carry, Gary is a truly unique sales person. His ideas and energy are limitless, whether he’s setting up store displays as a merchandiser or explaining the proper use of fertilizers or insecticides in the Lawn and Garden department. Gary spends his free time helping his family and friends with landscaping and home improvements. (See, we told you he loved this stuff!) |

As Floral Design coordinator, Pam is to live plants what a florist is to cut flowers. She’s always combining plants in unique combinations, blending foliage, colors and textures to liven up our customers’ containers and hanging baskets. Pam makes a lasting impression with her creativity, her 20+ years of experience with plants and floral arranging, and her award-winning Christmas tree designs. She has a real soft spot in her heart for homeless animals and always seems to have a houseful! |

A 10-year Donzell’s veteran, Lynn has a real flair for both design and entertaining. His unique ability to accessorize a garden area with elements that personalize your living space makes him the one to see for statuary, fountains, gazing globes, or sundials. Lynn really outdoes himself around the Holidays, with a wealth of outstanding decorating and entertaining ideas. He loves to cook and is an avid reader of mystery novels. |

While other kids tried to avoid their chores, Beth gladly helped her Dad with mowing and weeding as a youngster. Thus began a lifelong love of plants and gardening that would lead her to a degree in Greenhouse Production and Management from OSU Agricultural Technical Institute. She has more than 20 years experience working in greenhouses, including those at Stan Hywet. Today, she enjoys bird watching, perennial gardening and looking after her "jungle of houseplants." |

Taking a summer job at a garden center when he was at Xavier University in Cincinnati was the start of Vince's landscaping career. Graduating with a degree in Fine Arts, he has worked in landscaping for 18 years and is currently our Landscape Installation coordinator. Using his ability to visualize a design combined with his knowledge of plants, Vince is a natural at creating functional and visually pleasing landscapes with an expertise in hardscaping and water features. Although the demands of being a single father of twin sons with disabilities are great at times, he is inspired by nature and the plants he works with and enjoys drawing them. |
